Coming from a humble background, I have always been very careful and risk averse with my money. I know firsthand how investing can feel overwhelming when you don't have the right education. That's why I started this platform to help log my learnings and to inspire people to make better financial decisions.
I graduated from the National University of Singapore, where I majored in Accountancy and Finance. I am currently working in the public service, but have previously dabbled quite a bit in the finance industry. I worked at the investment banking division of HSBC, private equity team of Tikehau Capital, valuation advisory at PwC and venture capital at SEEDS Capital.

Since I was a child, the world of investing has had a magnetic allure for me. As a young investor, I dabbled with all sorts of asset classes and financial instruments in search of big returns. A few costly bumps and bruises later, I realised the importance of developing a methodical investment approach and risk management. I graduated from the National University of Singapore Business School, where I specialised in Business Analytics. I am currently working in the public service but have varied experiences in product, data & marketing roles in tech companies such as TikTok, VMware and Toronto-based insurtech startup PolicyMe.
